I went to Winnipeg (Manitoba) for the day (2 1/2 hours from where I live) and I went to this place called pet traders, and they had TONS of cages. They had ones that were like 6 feet tall!

Most budgie cages are small ( :bluebudgie: ) and the bigger cages have too big of bar spacing, but I saw this one HUGE cage that would be perfect for budgies! The cage was maybe about L-4 feet, W-2 1/2 feet and H-3 feet. But I'm just guessing and knowing me I'm probably way off...(Laughing out loud). And it was only $150 and the stand was $50. I was thinking of maybe getting it, because I want my (2) budgies to have a bigger cage and I would also like to move my brother's lonely budgie in with mine, AND I would like to add maybe 2-3 more budgies. I'll have to talk to my parents about it though.

Just make sure it is for budgies and not parrots as budgies can get stuck between the spacings of the bars.I think the bigger the better.

zoeandkiwi, it does look like your cage! Its white though.

The spacing inbetween the bars looks to be the same as my budgie's cage, but I'll have to check just to be sure.

Unfortunatly, I don't think I'll be able to get up there untill early May. So I know there's a good chance it will be gone, and if it is I'll buy a different cage (they had like 20+ cages).

I'm not too sure if my parents will let me get any more budgies, but I'm pretty sure they would let me because thats the whole point of buying the bigger cage (and my dad sounded interested). If not, then my 2 budgies and my brothers budgie will have the whole thing to themselves!

Also, I know this sounds kind of weird, but there are only 2 pet stores in Kenora, and both of them don't carry budgies (only fish)!!! So if I were to get more budgies, I would probably have to get them from this store (or any other store in Winnipeg). Would they be able to handle a 2 1/2 hour drive?

Actually, before I go buy more budgis (if I even get the cage) I'll see if anybody is giving one away. I know this one person that was giving away her budgie and a cage for free (in the newspaper) but I don't know if she still has it.

I just looked at the picture again, do you only have 1 budgie in there? What a lucky guy!

How many budgies could live comfortably in that size of cage?
