Its December and Christmas is getting near.

Many people would be putting their trees up if they

haven't already and it would be great to share all the

beautiful Christmas trees in their full glory.

I saw the decorations for sale at IKEA the other day... thought about it and moved them to the to hard trolley I know I'm a grinch but 've got budgies to look after I don't have time for decorations :laughter: When the wife twists my arm I'll put the photo's up

Yeah, It seems we always have a kitten in our tree around christmas, they go crazy for it... Last year was delilah, a few years before that Midnights kittens in her second litter, the year before was her first litter and the year before that was her Lol!!!

Next year will be Saphira's kittens with any luck

beautiful trees, you are so good, we have not put up our tree yet, we will probably put it up this weekend.

Our tree went up on the week end and my 5 year old want a little tree with lights in his room so Santa would know where his room is.

We normally buy a real tree, so maybe this weekend, if we get it too early it's dying :hug: :raincloud: before Christmas even with some water every day.

Put aspirin in its water as it keeps them alive for a lot longer

I love real trees and its only recently that i have stoped using them - i really mess the smell of the real tree

 

To keep a real tree alive for a good 4 weeks, give them an Asprin (as in the pill hehe), vodka, lemonaide or about a teaspoon of sugar twice a week will keep them a lot fresher :laughter:

 

Also give them HOT water twice a day as this stops the sap clogging at the cut and keeps the water and nutrients flowing better

We have delays in getting the Tree :thanks:

But hopefully this weekend we should get it ( we usually have it up on the 1st of Dec)

okay so we decided not to get a real tree this year ...

We usually go to the Christmas tree farm at luddenham but since the snakes have been bad this year we decided not to so WE BOUGHT ONE ....
