hey ,

well it is looking like cookie is definitely a female! once again i was tricked, i thought she was telling the truth but no she wasn't unless she had no idea herself? but it looks like i will have to get a one year old male ( unhand tame) and this time i will be sure to get it from a breeder. cookies cere is a pinky purple it is slightly crusted down the bottom and has white circles around the cere. looks like a female to me ....

Have to see a picture to say wether or not its a girl.. you are right though white around the cere can mean a girl...

Purple is an indication of a male in most mutations .. Best to post a picture so that you will get the correct advice .... Also you say a crusty down the bottom? How cristy?

yes every one can see my baby, cookie remeber she or he is only very young and yes you have seen this budgie before . soo here is some picture of him or her. its not a great lot of photos but it should do the trick.

well in these photos it looks very purple the cere is more like a pale whitey pink with a slight tinge of purple... defiantly crusted down the bottom of the cere and each day the white rings around the cere is becoming more obvious. so does this mean its still a boy?

If you are still not convinced, post some clear recent photos in natural light

Elise if it is of any help you can always come and visit me one day and bring cookie with you and I'll have a look, you can see my birds then too

Post 50 good clear pictures again, and we will guess and score it out of fifty. You keep asking many different ways what his / her sex is and we can only say from what we see on screen. You seem to see something different. Maybe a visit to MB is a really good idea
