I don't know if any one uses this but I thought I would make a new post and tell you all that I use this Pestene powder under my false nest concaves. It is meant to keep lice and etc away and as far as I know it does work.

 

I have use it for 2 years now and have never had any feather mite or anything sinister, one of my club members put me onto it. He has used it for years.

Some breeders put it under their trays also but I don't.

You know what splat ... I see that at both the chemists here and the produce stores and have thought about getting it ..... At least now I know they work :rofl:

That's good Neat, I just sprinkle a bit under each concave after cleaning nest. Some breeders sprinkle it under his trays in the breeding boxes but I haven't as yet. :ohmygod:

We sell it at work as well. Real good for poultry too. Its well worth a go.
