November 27, 200816 yr very cute. does the White/Yellow DF Spangle work the same as ino's as in white for Blue series yellow for Green series?? Your flocks future is looking bright!
November 27, 200816 yr Author Thanks guys I am quite pleased with what I have bred this year. Yes JB, white is Blue series and yellow green series. What I have learnt lately is next year I put normals with my double factors to get well marked babies which I did this yaer and I did get well marked birds but I should be putting grey green to dark green with yellow and grey with the white to hopefully loose that suffusion on the birds.
November 30, 200816 yr Author Here are some pics of my babies for 2008 This nest has 3 white double Factor Spangles full sister to my bird that got 2 nd at the shield and the pied is from another pair This is the oldest one out of the nest above and look at the feather she has. The 3 are cinnamon too and most likely opaline This like Green opaline spangle is going to be one big bird and nice too I hope she is the only one left out of the nest of my WOW bird and sky hen 100% watson, The hen squashed one and I found the dead looked like it was asleep it was 19 days old the the other was feather plucked and she was to old to foster so I tried feeding her but she died. This one a grey green Cinnamon opaline is going to very nice too, her sister was better but she died at 5 weeks her bile duct was blocked we did an autopsy and her brother was a mop. Hope you like :ohmygod:

December 17, 200816 yr I have to get my hands on some more show budgies. I only have one pair. I love all my pet style keets, and I have some great color varieties in my flock, but the more I look at the show budgies, the more I want them.... every bird you posted here is to die for... you had some great luck this year.
December 17, 200816 yr Author Thanks Chrissy, it is a lot of hard work, but i have had a good year it is so hard trying to cull. :hi:
December 17, 200816 yr Why don't you try and get some down to the Auction in Geelong splat... Monday March 9th I think it is... I have no idea what the procedure is for getting birds in an action but I'm sure they'll do great.
