I originally thought this to be a normal green cock, but after looking closer I think he might be a green cinny?? Please tell me what you think?

Looks like it could be, does the body colour look slightly washed out?

No, not really, he's actually quite a "bright" colored bird. They are down for the night now so I can't look again right now.

Check his throat spots, if brown then he's cinny if black then a normal, but they look pretty black in those pics? and the cheek patches will be purple as opposed to blue ;)

Hi Chrissy, in my opinion cinnamon light green. Second photo shows a slight bluish tinge on the green which could make him a dark green cinnamon. Jaz

He seems brown rather than black so I would say cinnamon dark green normal...unless a flash is showing the black markings as brown ?

flash can make black look brown, I agree check those throat spots if they are brown then he is a cinnamon.

Did you use a flash? He is very pretty.
No, no flash... I learned that the first week I joined this forum. Just the lights I have for the aviary.

His throat spots are black and his check patches are very dark royal blue? SO.. he is a dark green normal cock then. Thank you all on this one too. Mutation solved.
