I have a baby budgie that cant walk proplerly.She hobbles around.

She used to be able to get out of the box but now she never dose

i am verry worried about her.

It sounds like maybe it was injured but we can't be sure. Thank you.

It's almost impossible to 'guess' what the cause could be with out knowing more information. Does it look injured, any bloody in the cage-dry/wet- does she use it at all, is it swollen, how old is she, has she lost any other condition... sharp keep, pooy bum???? Also do you have any photos of her and her leg. The would help a lot. :hi:

Hi Eliza, as you are a show breeder most likely your chick has a ring on its leg. Check under the ring in case something is stuck there or if the ring has rubbed and caused an infection.

Sorry I dont have a photo I am staying at my friends house, so I cant get a photo right now, but will do ASAP. She is not a show chick, so no ring issues there. No blood in cage or box.
