I have recently got Wheatgrass in a pot (from Beak Appetite people) and my birds seem to like it. I especially happy because on their website they say how great wheatgrass is for budgies. But just not I have read in the FAQ section that wheatgrass can be fed only once a week! WHY?

I would say because it has a high water content it could cause Diarheoa if fed too often.

I bought some wheatgrass in powder form and put a tablespoon in the soft food daily. I haven't noticed any ill effects.
