Hi there, just wanted to show you a new budgie I just bought. Could someone confirm what he is...I'm guessing he's a double factor spangle, but I don't know much. I just read through the mutation guides but it has left me a bit confused.

Also how old do you think he is as I'm still relying on being able to age babies by their bars and when they don't have any well... :sadsorry: .

He also has iris rings, so possibly 3-6 months... ? He also has pale blue on his cheeks and through the front of his body.

We've named him Heath and this opaline boy we're calling Ledger.

 

 

You'll have to excuse the names but he was my favourite actor and I was so completely devestated when he died. But the boys suit their names well.

I agree that he's a DF spangle, the pale blue is suffusion and is common in DF spangles.

Also agree and he looks young but I couldnt guess age.

Me too DF Spangle with suffusion. He is still young and your estimate of 3-6 months would be close. :sadsorry:
