November 17, 200816 yr hmmmmmmm I have to say i have never known a budgie to be toilet trained. i know some other parrots can be, but i really cant say about budgies.

I had a friend's budgie that was 'toilet trained'..when it needed to it would go back to its cage, instead of doing that on its owner's shoulder, hand, wherever else it was at the time. I have only seen one budgie do that, though like Liv said, with other parrots I've seen it more..

November 17, 200816 yr I believe you would do it like any pet you have to observe when they go the most and take them to their cage when they have to go and when they do reward, I would also assume that your budgie would have to be fairly tame before even starting this venture.

November 18, 200816 yr My daughters tiel was toilet trained on another bird forum l go on, there are members who own tiels that are toilet trained
