November 17, 200816 yr That's so cute! Our first and best show baby would sleep on the bottom of the cage and to start with I thought there was something wrong with him and was really worried he wasnt going to make it. He would also eat, while still laying down. My fiance came up one weekend and went to look at the birds and informed me my big violet boy was dead. I laughed and said, no he's just lazy. Adam said, laying down with his feet stuck out behind him?? I panicked a bit and ran in to check him and sure enough, he was alive and well, just having a lazy nap. He is now out in the nursery aviary and doing fine
November 19, 200816 yr That is too cute & too freaky. Strange when they like a snuggly spot like that.
November 19, 200816 yr Photo of the month contest beckons. I love the one with the 2 chicks squashed in to the seed container together
November 20, 200816 yr too funny!!!!!!!!! When I had my youngsters in a large cage before they were sold (I had 5) I came home from work one day to 'missing' bubs! I had a deepish food dish hanging on the side of the cage and could only see two bubs feeding from the top. It wasn't until I went over and opened the door that I found ALL FIVE of them in their  The bottom three were snoozing and the top two were trying to dig under them for some seed...
