Lest We Forget ..... To those soldiers that died for our freedom

 

 

Return Home Safe For those soldiers away from their loved ones .....

 

 

In case members aren't aware it is remembrance day ...

11th hour of the 11th day of the 11 month when the war was silenced for 1 minute

11 Nov 1918 was the end of WW1 when the German Forces signed the Armistance which was effectively a ceasefire. The signing of the Treaty of Versialles occured in 1919 which formalised the end of the hostilities.

 

Despite the stupidity exhibited by war monger nations in WW1 where millions of people were killed, we had to line up a second time 20 years later to do it again.

 

Worse still there are countires out there still behaving in an agressive pugnatious manner.

 

There are no winners in war. LEST WE FORGET the poor individuals that are sent off to fight them and die fo the most gallant cause there is... for their country.
