Posted November 8, 200816 yr I have decided I would prefer deeper boxes for my breeding birds as I have found even quite small babies are able to launch themselves out of the ordinary ones. Short of custom making them which I don't really have the time to do I was wondering if tiel boxes would be suitable?
November 8, 200816 yr I suppose it depends on size....a tiel box I have that I dont use looks a bit big to me. If it were too heavy.... attatching it to a cage and hoping it didnt tip over might be an issue Edited November 8, 200816 yr by KAZ

November 8, 200816 yr You would need an internal and external perch for feeding if you use a tiel box. I have never noticed a problem with the regular budgie boxes before.
