I answered you on your other post about bonding, you don't know what type of babies he will have unless you know what type of female you are pairing him up with, I didn't want to double up on my post. So I will put my answer here and then edit your other post so people only answer 1 time okay.

Cookie is a Cobalt Yellowface Type 1 (if there is no yellow on the wings) in the picture it looks like there is if there is then a Yellowface Type 2 (which means the yellow runs through the wings and body as the bird molts out you may find the yellow will spread more.

The wing marking look possibly spangle? Do you have a picture of the back of the bird and are the wing markings grey or back?

Basics:

2 Greens together will equal Green birds UNLESS both birds are carrying the hidden blue gene

1 Green and 1 Blue will equal Green UNLESS the Green bird is carrying the hidden blue gene

Yellowface birds most likely create more yellowface birds.

To your other response he is not a pied, we have in our FAQ Standards on the different mutations along with different members birds that you can see different mutation. The Yellow is from the YellowFace Gene 2 that is why it is on his wings. If it looks like his wings have been traced then he most likely is probably spangle but a back view would be best.

oh my gosh! it just excaped! dont ask me how! i caught it but man those things are fast and do they bite hard or what!elly what type is merlin? merlin is the same as bluebell.

Could he be dilute, or is the camera just really washed out?

He looks very different from how I originally thought he looked when I saw the first blurry lot of pics!

He and Bluebell would have blue babies.. my very inexperienced guess would be half normal half spangle, and maybe half yellowface half not? Anyone want to correct me lol?

no he isnt dilute, actually he is the same as Krosps bird except spangle, which makes the wings and head more yellow than black.

I agree with Elly, yellow face type 2 cobalt spangle B)

Merlin is a Cobalt Violet Normal

what kind of bdgie is cookie? i really dont understand the whole genetic mutation thing could some one post the differnce of them all in a picture? oo i wonder later on what kind of babies he will have?
I agree that your bird is a type 2 yellow face cobalt spangle. When he is old enough if you paired him with a normal blue hen you would get about 50% spangles and 50% normals. half of each type will be yellow faced. There are numerous possibilities if he is paired with some other mutation
