November 8, 200816 yr The only thing I am worried about is that when I give my birds egg here Greg makes only give them a bit as he believes it puts too much fat around there heart. AND is not good for them has any research being done on it. This will get you going Kaz Go for it Im ready Has anyone heard that. By the way I don't really listen to him too much because I just sneak what ever I need into their food and what he doesn't know what hurt Edited November 8, 200816 yr by splat
November 8, 200816 yr Author The egg white is higher in protein I believe and the yolk is higher in fat, it's the reason yuppy dieters ask for egg white omelettes So if you wanted to give lots of protein with less fat you would be best to feed just the white Edited November 8, 200816 yr by KAZ

By the way I don't really listen to him too much because I just sneak what ever I need into their food and what he doesn't know what hurt The egg is protein and show budgies in particular need extra protein for feather development. Grey is applying the egg thing about "too many eggs for people" to the birds. If he is worried about fat around the heart he should research more closely what seeds are in the seed blend he is feeding the birds before he worries about egg.
November 8, 200816 yr  No Kaz he is talking about the birds he has bred pigeons, Show budgies and canaries since he was 8yrs old believe me that's along time ago. He hasn't shown a bird in years but he is my mentor, he really is so good he knows his birds and when we need a autopsy done he does it knows the insides and out of birds. I guess what Greg is all about is keep it simple but I keep telling he needs to catch up with the times. But really Kaz, most times he is right Edited November 8, 200816 yr by splat
