Confused Birds

in my budgie avairy i have a pair of yellow turks parrots. 1 of my male budgies (who is also a dad of 3 newly hatched young), is very friendly with my male turk parrot as i seen them both feed each other.

How sweet :) I have budgies and tiels who preen each other - its lovely when the different species get a long.

It is very common you just have to watch that the budgie doesn't irriate the bigger birds. In a pet shop I went to I saw a sun conure and a budgie and they were both in seperate cages but they could see each other through the plexi glass and then would huddle next to the glass together, it was sort of sad I think for the sun conure because he was alone and was looking for a friend but the budgie had other budgies but chose the sun conure to be next too :D.

Naw elly! Thats sooo cute. So heartwarming (yet sad. You just wanna cuddle them!)

Can be real cute, but observe closely as birds also feed the weaker and sicker ones. Check birds state of health when you see this happen just in case :D

i got a spare aviary so i might move the turks, so he will pay more attention to the female turk :D

That's really lovely but I agree with Kaz.

both birds are pretty healthy.

the male budgie has 3 youngsters who are all fine. i have seen him go into the box to feed them and mum.

i think he has found an easier way to get food for the family - just ask the male turk to eat for him and collect food when needed
