Recessive pieds come in both pet type and show type re size. Yours looks almost show type. We don't call them "English" here. :)

just so you know the show type and pet type can be bred together to get a show/pet type budgie, :D

I heard of an American budgie a while ago... looked like a pet type.. so many names for such a small bird :D Small but very loveable!

There is no such thing JB as an "American budgie" ........just a term americans give their pet types.
