Cosmo Is Being A Bit Difficult

Lately Cosmo has got really bossy and a bit difficult. It's really cute at the same time but hard to put up with. He's become really possessive of my hands, and sometimes if i'm using the computer, he'll fly onto my hand and viciously attack my fingers if they're typing on the keyboard or moving the mouse.

The other thing he's doing is that he keeps trying to fly onto my head, or he'll climb up there from my shoulder. I wouldn't mind, except that i don't want bird poo in my hair so I take him out every time. Then of course he proceeds to bite my fingers after I've got him off. He also flies onto my glasses and gets stuck to the front of my face! Also, he attacks my hands if I take him off something that he is chewing to bits.

None of these are desirable behaviours... but I'm not sure what to do about it. Any tips?

Merlin used to chase my fingers too and what I do is I say no and I remove him from where he wants to be and shoo him away if you discpline him in a kind matter where you don't hurt him it does work. I shoo Merlin off my head and the more I do it the less tried and he doesn't try anymore because I agree I don't want poo in my hair either. If he continues to bad behavior remove him completely and put him back on his cage (not in because you don't want to associate in for bad). Also he may be going through a hormonal stage so do make sure he is getting 12-14 hours of cover time that really makes a difference if he is you could increase his cover time by 1-2 hours for 1 week and I bet you will see a change.

Good luck with your naughty little boy!!
