Is My Baby Budgie Fine?

Featured Replies

Is this baby alright? She's 18 days old, I'm just wondering if she is developing okay..sorry if this is a stupid question, its just she's the only survivor in a clutch of 6 eggs, so I'm kind of paranoid about her.

Here's some pictures of her:

*sigh* that is great..and yeah I know she's a Dominant Pied, she's going to be so pretty..probably Spangle too.

I was just worried because she is kind of small and has less pinfeathers then that other bird. I know they develop at different rates, but I was just making sure she was okay. Thanks.

Has she been plucked???? It looks like on those photos that she has a 'bald' patch on her head???

I was waiting for someone to ask that. No, she hasn't been, it because she's a Dominant Pied, thats her white patch on the back of her head. :(

Shows my ignorance doesn't it :( I make no excuse for my lack of experience in this area...

Thanks for confirming that... she is a cutie!
