Ha! Today I was going through the music on my computer and wanted to see what music Ben would react to, as he has been a bit quiet. So far a song with a techno sort of song by Kanye West called: Stronger, has Ben chirping like mad! :parrot:

When I take an hours drive to a budgie show with budgies in show cages they definitely have preferences. They like Boney M and Abba. They hate Rod Stewart and they hate Bruce Springsteen

Mine love noise too - my place is always noisy, and when it has its rare moments of quiet the birds fill it in with their songs and chatter.

I dont get to play a lot of music out loud, but they hear the kids music and tv most of the day :fear

My budgies in the birdroom have music on all day with the radio...not sure what they like but its sets on a rock n roll station

My 10 year old brother has a beautiful budgie Bluey and he loves the sound of mum stirring her cuppa!

That's bizarre!! Charley also loves Abba best!!!! I guess because they're very catchy and they, like us, cant help singing along!

 

Maxie will only ever come to life and chirp when there's noise. Running water, boiling kettle and also loves to hear me stirring my cuppa!!! When I stop stirring, she stops chirping!

Lambchop, loves anything... and I mean ANYTHING!! If either Clinton or I watch a video on Youtube she will go off her tree! Same deal with music or movies It's really funny.

 

When I first noticed it, I was playing some music while Clinton was out and she was chattering away and carrying on, I paused it to hear her "singing" (I love the sounds they make hehe) she stopped singing. I started the music up again and away she went again. This went on a few more times before I left it on for her and I to enjoy

Yes, and Merlin love when my son plays his faster songs on the violin vs the slower ones :party0011:, he gets nuts and the kids love it.

my budgies love any music that has a fast beat to it
