Hi all just wanted to ask what Gene would these two be please they have just bonded , i have no idea what there parents were so could be interesting to see what babies we have . John & Swanacilli

Its hard to tell you might need to post a picture of their back so we can see what they are properly. I think that the one on the left is a mauve spangle and on the right a sky blue normal if i am wrong someone will correct me.

I would say the same thing :) The throat spots give the spangle away :D

 

They are a nice pair, I'd be happy to have them in one of my breeding cages :bliss:

I agree with the others :) ... You will have beautiful chicks from them

Unless there are hidden recessive genes and sex linked genes present you should get 50% spangles and 50% normals

 

Is the spangle a violet? If he is then half the chicks will inherit violet

very nice pair. Neville knows his genetics better than anyone I know so I'll be agreeing with him...
