Halloween Cruise In The Hearse

Featured Replies

I have decided that on the evening of halloween I am taking Morgana our 1959 Cadillac Hearse out for a few hours cruise. My youngest daughter Angie and I are getting dressed up in costume and we are taking the hearse out all over Perth for some fun. Plan to do all the "coffee strips" and niteclub areas, through the city and up the coast a little. Kind of fun in the halloween vein of things but also some promotional stuff for the hearse as we are soon to launch both hearses into a business.

We have a coffin for the back and we have IGOR our spook, and skull things etc. We have spooky sound effects on CD and we have "hearse cruising music" :D I have seen blood dripping stickers you can put on the car windows...there such a range of stuff and its just for the night. Might need to look for some good lighting effects. I think we will be dressing like Frankensteins brides or something like that. Elvira type wigs, or morticia Adams from the Munsters ...black gear...a little gothic looking.

Will hand out halloween candy from our talking skull candy dish...like this ... http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=mwHgNUe4KVg&...feature=related

its motion sensor activated and starts talking and singing as you reach for candy.

Any suggestions would be great.

It looks very cool! :D

I have no suggestions, but would love to see you cruising around. Oh, I do have one suggestion, not for the theme but for the business - will you be printing and "pre business" flyers in case any"body" asks questions and would like to get in touch later?

they had a couple hearses by us and they were pretty nasty in side LOL, faces smashed up against the window, limbs hanging out are you looking for gross or nice and cool :D.

The makeup in the first video looks really cool - the effect looks so real.

That will look so awesome.

What if you had the coffin lid partly open in the back and have someone laying in it with lots of makeup on them to make them look really dead. Then anytime someone pears though the window, the person in the coffin can suddenly wake up and scare the **** out of them! hehehe

Hi Kaz

At Wintersun every year their is an old black hearse that has blue LCD strip lighting and dry ice spookily drifting out of the windows. It looks very effective. Sounds like you will be having some fun.

I would like the get the lighting too but it can only be turned on when we stop somewhere and not used for driving around. The dry ice idea wont work this time as we will be driving around but good for displays another time :bump:

Really cool Kaz but I am already spooked, :bump:

I am going to put the hearse on ebay tonight. I have decided to put its "services" only up for auction for halloween night.

Going to deck her out and offer her for an hour's appearance to anyone having a halloween party that night within 35 kms radius of the centre of Perth. Will come with two female "brides of frankenstein" . No paying passengers allowed....just for appearance and photos. It may end up paying for the gas for our cruise later on.

Sounds like a great idea! Hope you get lots of bidders. Good luck! :P

Sounds awesome. Do you have much halloween around there? I've actually never really seen any signs of halloween here, apart from last year my friend had a spooky birthday party because her birthday actually is on halloween.

Well the kids get into it thats for sure.....free sweets etc. BUT the costume hire shops say they are flat out busy this time of year too.

I guess we will see what the auction brings. I could offer two auctions....two different time frames too ? !

That's a great idea Kaz, good luck with it all, when I live in Bendigo Halloween was a fairy big thing lots of kids would dress up and go out with their parents around our area.

I just volunteered to do an appearance at a haunted house event aimed for children. It happens to be in the same area I will be collecting my daughter from work in the hearse. She will be dressed and ready to go, so we will do a VISITATION upon the Haunted House event just to help them out. skeletons17.gif
