What Do You Do For Exercise?

I try and walk daily but it's hard to fit in on the days I work but when I'm not I walk at least for an hour and a half in the morning and sometimes then for another hour in the afternoon! What do you do to keep fit??

I walk too, kids in the double pram, two dogs on leads and let the chaos begin!!! In three weeks my kids start swimming lessons so we will add that in too as I still have to go in with my youngest :D

 

When I get a chance to escape my children I grab the kelpie and take her for a jog, the bassett's legs are too short so she gets left behind :hap:

More intense exercise for a shorter period of time once or twice a week will yield good results and is very economical. Just add some squat jumps, push-ups, sit-ups and prone extensions at the end of, or at particular places on your walk/run.

I have a feral 2 year Old son ... Need i say more :D

With you there Neat :D Two feral small boys over here :o When my kids are tiny I have found a great form of exercise is using them as weights. Lying on your back and doing bench presses with them and things like that, they think it's hysterical and it's great for toning up the muscles :P

I basically walk/ride everywhere I need to go. I go to the gym 4 days per week. I do alot of weights and cardio exercises. Ride to work/tafe everyday etc... I find that I stay fit as long as I dont pile up on junk food.

Yep .... They are the best form of exercise ...

However if I would stop pigging out on Junk food I might actually lose some weight :D

I am with Neat and Liv, chasing kids is my exercise and i have 4 so i get plenty of exercise.

okay my normal week is

 

Monday - Boxercise

Tuesday - 2km run

Wednesday - Boxercise

Thursday - 1 hour personal training

Friday - 2 km run

Saturday - day off

Sunday - 1 hour Personal Training

I walk/jog for an hour and then I also have an couple exericse tapes that I really like that I do either with it that day or by themselves if it is a rainy day, I also have a treadmill (boring) that I only do if I can't walk outside.

 

But I just started getting back into the routine with the 2 kids during the summer I didn't exercise like I should have. So I am on and off with it.
