Yesterday I went to the pet shop to buy a couple of Rats! Came home with Houdini and Rattacus! they're gorgeous!

Very nice. I had a pet rat once too. His name was Tempalton and he stunk really bad, but he was lovely otherwise

I have read that rats make excellent first pets too. You will have to post a picture.

My daughter had pet rats when she lived at home. They are really nice pets. BUT the boys can get a bit smelly.

Strange I had rats and never had a smell issue, it's listed as one of the plus for rat ownership that they don't smell.

 

Anyway congrats on your new ownership of these two little guys, have fun with them and post pictures please
