October 10, 200816 yr Author are any of the earlier eggs fertile? 2 that I know I think maybe 4 though but defanly 2
October 12, 200816 yr It may just be a random thing her body has done- in that case its up to you whether to keep the egg or throw it out before it starts to develop Or she may have had a bit of trouble passing it and taken a couple of days- in that case keep as eye on her. If you keep the egg just keep an eye on the little one when it hatches as it will be quite a bit smaller than the others It may just be a once off egg and she should be okay. Good luck Jodie Things like this happen sometimes I met a girl once pregnant with triplets but they were different ages, she was having twins then a month later her body added another.
October 14, 200816 yr Author Okay about 2 days ago I was worried about Lumina laying a random egg 8 days after the sixth was laid, so yeah I just an update well the first two eggs didn't hatch, which I knew as I didn't think any would hatch and this morning I woke up and cried because Bailey my opaline blue male attacked his Female Sky as she keeps rejecting him from mating with her he had been stressing her out for a couple of days, so after today I put a stop to it and separated them. I then went down stairs to tell my mom that they fought and I separated them. So I went back upstairs to find high pitched cheeping and there was a little baby jellybean cheeping. It has fur on its butt is that normal?? My friend said there completely bald when they hatch. Also Lumina started squawking in the middle of the night so I was wondering if the chick moved in the egg? as the egg hatched this morning. Edited October 15, 200816 yr by Neat spelling
October 14, 200816 yr Lumina might have heard the baby chirping inside the egg last night and that made her squawk. YES baby budgies can hatch with "fur" on them...not all baby budgies are bald. Great news on the baby :anim_19: Edited October 15, 200816 yr by Neat
