Nice find... BUT, can the nest boxes be removed and attached to the outside? This would give them more room to move inside... and as it is, budgies prefer nest boxes to be higher rather than lower, so they might not be too keen to use them on the floor. Just my opinion :(

Oh, I didnt think of that. Its homemade. No, its not able to remove the boxes and attach to the outside. He has used it before successfully so I'll try.

Thanks

I agree with the others...........nestbox to the outside :D

Give it a go, if it does not work then (am I remembering correctly) your brother makes the home made boxes right? I am sure he could take them out and add ones to the outside

What do you mean didn't have the right cage

$10 is always a bargin :D

Just remember to clean and disinfect them before using!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree with the others about the positioning of the nest box ...

Also add new perches ( use 2 not 1 )

very nice!!!

I would prefer to have the nest box's on the outside too but I have been looking around for cage fronts, no one seems to sell them unless you want to cut the wire mesh...

LOL Jimmy, just seeing if you all were on your toes LOL ... okay I stuffed up :D

Brez - They are FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Great Buy too They sell roughly around my way between $50 - $65 each single cabinet ...

I would love to take the credit for making a fool of you but I believe it was AV that pointed out the mistake in this thread... :D It's not always me!

Great buy, I agree with the others, I have my nest boxes on the side of my cages, we drill a hole in the wood then screw the nest box on up as high as they will go.

I know most breeders have them on the front but my breeding room is not very wide so having them on the sides which gives me more room to move about without smashing into them which I nave done when some were on the front.
