Big Poops

My hens have all finished laying their eggs for this round, but they all still have HUGE MEGA POOS - why??? :)

I don't know but I wouldn't be worried for a while yet, as I think it just has something to do with being fertile and laying eggs. I can't remember how long our hens used to have big poops for, but I thought it could even have been well into raising the chicks?

If they have young beanies, they are still spending most of their time in the nest box, so they "save up" their poos and just drop it all in one big go when they come out for a quick stretch etc. It's more relative to the time they spend in the nest box than to just do with the laying process :D
