Posted October 6, 200816 yr I thought I'd update especially for the Queen Boris BBC Fan Club members :rip: Boris has been taken out of the breeding cabinet after her failed clutch and is in her normal house cage. To acclimatise her back into the household she is outside the kitchen window which is one of the busiest in the household. She is spoken to through the window about 30 times daily and since she was put in there on Saturday she has come along in leaps and bounds. She comes up to the wire, has stopped her savage biting and only nibbles and plays now. She is also starting to "chat" to us again. At this rate she will be inside the house having a fly around on Saturday after my cage cleaning chores. She is doing really well and we are all happy with her progress. More updates to come.
October 6, 200816 yr Excellent news Must be hard being so patient and waiting for her to come back in :rip:
October 7, 200816 yr Author Yes, definitely ! We have decided not to house her and Sam next to each other as Boris was a disruptive influence on Sam. Since she was outside in the breeding cabinet, Sam has turned into a lovely bird and kisses and cuddles all the time. When he and Boris were next to each other there was alot of jealousy and Sam especially had turned into a monster biter. They will be kept separate and brought out of their cages for play times separately too. Edited November 4, 200816 yr by Neat Changed definately to definitely
