October 3, 200816 yr Always look for A happy active budgie who sits on the perch and is among other happy healthy budgies. Also check for clean bright eyes, Clean smooth and shiny feathers Clean vent (bottom) is a MUST!! Clean feathers above the nostrils (no dark stains or signs of moisture) Make sure the place you get them from is clean and the water is fresh etc too - You need to check all birds in the cage with the bird you want as if one is sick it may have infected the one you want too. Make sure you quarantine a new bird from your currrent bird for at least 30 days in another room. Good luck Edited October 3, 200816 yr by Neat
