Posted October 2, 200816 yr I nipped in to my local bird place to get some supplies and came out with these 2, Dante http://i324.photobucket.com/albums/k337/ch...79/birds155.jpg they are not the best pics and they don't show his true colour but he is the most amazing shade of "purple" I have even seen, would he be called a violet? I am wondering about the dark factor now because I have honestly never seen this shade before, he is almost what I would call a royal purple, advice would be great please? and Jazz http://i324.photobucket.com/albums/k337/ch...79/birds157.jpg http://i324.photobucket.com/albums/k337/ch...79/birds158.jpg I am guessing sky blue opaline? October 2, 200816 yr The hen is carrying violet so she would be a good match for him. He is purple ring though so getting on a little ...what colour ring is the hen ?
October 2, 200816 yr Would be a good idea to have foster parents in the wings for them though as being older means they have most likely been tried and they might have issues.

October 2, 200816 yr They are lovely, your male reminds me of Merlin totally the color and even the look of the head etc... . Your female is a opaline violet she is very lovely.
October 2, 200816 yr Yep I see violets there very nice Paired together you should get 50%Violet cobalt and 50% violets
