Hi everyone, my name is Nick and I'm new to this forum. okay a bit about myself, I'm 15 years old and I have kept budgies for 5 years now and bred them for two. I only have 5 budgies at the moment, but I have a hen on eggs as well. I recently decided to get into showing and was looking around google when I found this site. Any advice on showing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Best advice is join a club! There are loads of members there that will help you along the way

There is soooo much involved I had no idea when i was interested and now well I AM HOOKED

 

You will also get supplements, feed and meds there too

However, my parents seem to think {quote}'the whole idea is stupid' and wont drive me to a club unless its under 20 mins away. I'm trying to convince them so I might get lucky and get them to agree to let me join a club...

Once you find a club near you, you may well find someone going in the same direction to the club meetings and you can share a ride.

Hey! Welcome to the forum. There is so much information here that you'll be reading 20 years from now and still won't of read it all... I love this place...

Yeah, I've had a little look around and there is alot of information about budgies, I cant wait to read it all.

You will find that the meetings are only once a month in most clubs.

I have sent an email to the glenroy club, and got some info about that club. It looks like a pretty good club, is there anyone on here who belongs to the glenroy club?
