How many budgies will go in a cage 30" long about 18" wide and about 18" tall?

About 2 - 4 depending on how much out of cage time they get

Mine is that size:

 

 

I have just 2, but if they were given heaps of out of cage time (as Liv said), I'd probably have 3 or 4 at a push.

i also have i about that size and i have 2 quite happily in it.

2 budgies, I say the more space you can give budgies the better especially if you find you don't always have time to let them out for flight time. Make sure cage is not too cluttered you can always rotate toys and perches and have the perches on the sides of the cage longwise so they can fly back and forth in the middle.

I have natural wooden perches on each side. :hap:
