March 13, 200520 yr cheers guys I've decioded not to play the sounds having read the site. The owner says that a budgie will think he has new friends then think they've left him when the wav file stops and its sort of like a form of torture! Interesting to know what different sounds mean though Annii

I found that site quite a while ago but I agree that it can be a little stressful for a bird listening to it and wondering where all the other budgies are. It might not be such a bad thing if you have more than one bird.

I noticed that very same thing. It was like "This sound means they're happy... ACK ACK ACK!" "This sound means come look.... ACK ACK ACK!" "This sound means go away... ACK ACK ACK!" Though, that's probably pretty accurate as they use that sound for different things. But I'm starting to think she may have been reading way too much into it, (Laughing out loud).

March 18, 200520 yr It's true that heaps of the sounds sound the same but you can oftern tell why they're making the sounds because of whats happening around them.
