You wouldn't mistake a quail egg for a budgie egg Neat, they are about 3 times the size of a budgie egg and are a different color - ranging from grey to a khaki color

 

They possibly wouldn't smash if laid from the perch they are a lot harder than budgie eggs.

I was trying to say that if the quails were in my Flight avairy with the budgies I thought I would mistake that .. Lol

But I now know that they are different size and color too ....
