Hi I'm New Here

Hi I'm new here. This is my first time breeding budgies (I have previously bred other birds) and this forum has helped me a lot. I have three budgies: The mother, and her two (now 6 week old) babies. The father escaped when the chicks were 11 days old. Sorry about the quality of the photos, my camera is broken so I had to use my phone.

Here they are:

Storm(the mum):

Banshee (the youngest):

Banshee and Cloud (both of Storm's babies):

Any of you good with genetics tell me what their colours are? And if the babies are male or female? Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Your budgies are cute as :nest: I'm not good with genetics so I'll leave it up to the experts. As for sex, I'd need a clear closeup of their ceres. One other thing. The bell in the last two photos looks like it has rust on it. I'd replace it if I was you, as rust can kill budgues if they eat it. Welcome again and I look forward to getting to know you and your flock :P

I didn't realize rust could do that.. I'll go do that now..:/
