Posted August 14, 200816 yr I have a baby budgie who is 3 weeks old its cere and beak is totally black. It is in beautiful condition the mother is very careful with him. Can someone tell me what this means please? I have tried to take pictures but it wont show up.
August 14, 200816 yr No bid deal...just a lot of melanin. Fades away over a couple of weeks till back to normal. Some breeders keep the black beaked ones as they see it as a good sign. Cheers Kaz
