I thought you might all like to se a piccy of our new little friend Pepi. He is very chatty, flies around the house and lands on everyones shoulders and heads, has a penchant for pasta if he can get his beak in it before you stop him and likes to hang from my fringe and look deep into my eyes He is well and truly part of the family now. Pepi belonged to 'Ortega' who has headed off to live overseas. Pepi has been an only budgie for four years and was quite scared of the other birds when he arrived but tonight for the first time he introduced himself to one of the other inside budgies during fly time

Oh AV, you would be smuggling him home in your pocket if you met him. He flies over and talks in my ear and he gives little kisses on your nose He is I swear the sweetest little budgie you have ever met!

 

The DF spangle chick I have in the nest at the moment should be coming out of the nest just in time to become Pepi's cage buddy

Can't wait to bring a baby boy inside to tame, but not sure whether to wait till I breed a pretty one or to just go and bring the first boy I breed in, my son Mitchell is busting a gut to have a tame one inside .

He has been here for a liitle while now, this is just my first post He did a short quarantine since he hasn't seen another bird for over four years(since he was a baby) and is in the best of health.

He is very pretty bird . And Pepicek is the most common male budgie name here in Czech

I know Pepicek's mummy is from the Czech, that's why they have headed back over there. They were very sad they couldn't take their baby with them

It's just a name, I don't think it means anything else. It sounds strange, but it's actually a cute version of the name Josef (czech version of Joseph) .
