Did you manage to breed from him and get some of his genes in your flock???

Couldn't see myself ever paying that much for a budgie, but then again I don't show them. Sorry for your loss. :hap:

Sorry Joel. Did it Die or fly away?

Yeah that is a bit of a bugger!!! But always look on the bright side I recently went to an auction where about 6 or so birds went for the $1,000+ mark, 2 of those went for $1,300 and there's go guarantee that these birds will reproduce or even make it home in that case. Some people have more money than sense. Although saying that I have spent a bit on a couple of birds (nothing like $1,300) myself and one of these did kick the bucket not long after getting it into my avairy :) - no young produced.

very sorry to hear about your loss, what happened?

Well what happend is he died when he was in the breeding cabinet he has 2 chiks there about 3 1/2 weeks old he produced 1 cleardody and 1 albino he was paired to a yellow face cobalt but i think he died because it was to much stress in the cabinet but he was healthy in my eyes but neva mind you can't control birds dieing but i managed to fine myself 2 new clearbodies and a split but they only cost $150 each so they were a little bit cheaper but thanks for all of you replies it made me feel alot better.

regards joel

A nice pair - I look forward to the pics of their babies. :)

No worries I will liv. They're looking all right but I dont know if they're going to be enough to win on the show bench with the compition that there is, but I'll post some picture of my birds in the flock section thanks .
