Okay Bailey who is now in his large mini aviary cage with his mate began to court her and then he kept kicking her, trying to mount her to mate but she kept rejecting him as she is not in breeding contition so after she rejected his 4 times he walked away into the corner and humped his pole!

I had a budgie that used to hump his toys and regurgitate his food all over the toys, its natural for animals I guess. But don't add a nest box if you don't want them to breed but If you do want them to breed please be sure that you have read all you can about budgie breeding as it's not as easy as some people think there are many problems to consider when breedings like if the hen is too young she can become egg bound etc.

I have read and I know about being eggbound and it can kill the hen and the the babys crops, and I help my friend who budgies had chicks unexspectedly but now she is 4 years old and retired from breeding, well I told them she is getting to old after I read her leg ring.

And Bailey Is there budgies son and he only regurgitates to Sky and does it back and they do it over and over and they have mated once, He is a year and half he was born chrismas not last year but the year before and Im not sure how old she is maybe you can tell for me.

She has white Iris rings and no bars

when I bought her, her cere was a deep brown colour
