Gucci and Dolce are still yet to come out on their own, but are happy to have a 'finger' ride to the park for a play. Today, they have been out for an hour and were kind enough to let me take a few happy snaps...

Whats with the food colouring in their seed mix ??

Thanks all... the coloured seed is 'Brown's Fruit Bites Banquet' It has some pellets, split peas, papaya and seeds. It's very much a treat for them (they don't have it in their cage), but it seems along with my avairy birds, they throw everything away and only eat the seeds. I bought this packet awhile ago and won't bother again. The coloured pellets are what Dolce threw off the table

 

Kaz, the paddlepop ladder thingy is how they get up to their cage and out. I used a staple gun to staple them onto the piece of wood... but the little buggers decided it would be fun to try and eat the staples... so NOT happening. So, i covered them with cotton rope. This hides the nasties and gives them more grip on the ladder.

There is also photo of the play gym and their cage in Taming Gucci and Dolce. Since the phot was taken I have added their paddlepop stick/cotton rope escalator type thing... which they love, and some extra branches, but I'm still not 100% happy with it I have some more branches which I think I add to it at the back instead of having them on the ground. As I watch them play and explore it, I can see where 'things' need to go and be added to help them get around and have more FUN!!
