Hi all,

Just wanted to post a picture of my new boy.

Not sure of a name yet, wanted to thank Kaz and Libby for helping me... :(

He is settling in well and starting to explore his new home.

Hi Kaz,

Great shots of his Dad, so interesting to see how the feather colours change from young to adult bird, the breast feathers changed from a light blue to more of a green.

My Dad was interested in breeding budgies when he was young and use to try and explain the different varities to me... I did not pay enough attention...

I had a red cover leather bound book of his with sketches which I am now trying to find again.

I bought a book "Budgeriegars - Best friend or National Champion" interesting reading...

Can you help me with your birds variety? he is a spangle? Is there going to be a budgerigar exhibition at the royal show this year would love to have a look..

Thanks again for your help.. :)

What a doll and to have one of Kaz's babies how fortunate you are. We have contest called Budgie of the Month you should enter one of his photos :D

Kind of one of mine Elly, but Aarons baby came from Libbys gentle handling. She now has Mars and paired him up with a nice hen.
