i dont know what any of those trees look like, and even if i did get the branches it would give them worms

wouldnt it?

You can give (non toxic) branches from your local trees. Just give them a wash first with water.

Some people bake the branches (without leaves) in the oven for about 20 mins to kill any bugs lurking in the wood - but i consider it overkill.

If you keep your birds wormed every 12 weeks or so, you will not have any issues :D

Thanks, Bailey has even started courting her more and shes like "I'm free!"

They'll get used to where the mesh is in no time :( As for scaly face, I use Ivermectin, but if you don't have that, you can use Olive Oil. Use a cotton bud and put it on the effected area. Make sure you don't get it in their nostrils. Is it definately scaly face? Do you have a picture?

Use a cotton tip to apply it to the beak and just the edge of the cere where it joins the beak but not the cere itself. Apply to legs and feet also. YES you can treat them all in the same cage :fear

You will have to catch her sweetie...its important. Put on gardening gloves if you have to. Use a net like they use to catch fish.

Okay I treated them both and rubbed the oil on the perch they use most so it gets there feet better than I can do, no problems with George I held him to my chest and he stayed still

and Lumina well that was a nother story It took 2 hours to catch her obiously with breaks for her to catch her breath.

how long do I have to treat it for?
