We all know what the basic grey looks like.

We all have seen a yellow face Grey type 1, where we have a grey with a yellow face however the yellow hasn't washed through it's body.

I am assuming that you can get a yellowface type 2 grey. Is it possible? What does it look like if the yellow washes through the grey? Anyone got any pics - if it is even possible, or does the dominant grey cancel out the yellow wash through?

Yes there are Yellow Face 2 Greys, I was looking through the Mutation Pictures of our Members and 1 person had it but the picture is now broken, when the yellow goes into the grey it does make it a greyish green coloring because as you know grey on a white based bird is really a blue bird in genetics.

Hmmm Never thought if a yf2 grey ... * off to look for a picture :D

I think i have one in the nest at the moment i cant take any pictures because its FREEZING but i will try tommorow the "bleeding" is not as bad as the yf blues on mine anyway, It just has some spots of green ontop of the grey?

the colouring will turn to what you see in grey-greens.

This is Khepri HurdyBirdy's bird. You can see one green marks on the chest were the yellow has bleed. the colouring is pale due to the greywing gene.
