i was just wondering how to tell that when they are ready to start breeding, because i bought some birds and i don't know how old they are, and i would like to start breeding soon. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If they have no bars and iris rings chances are they are atleast 7 months old and probably older, plus I think they kind of have a baby face until they are around that age too. so if you waiting a few months to be on the safe side you should be okay. Pics would help though

If you can post some pictures of your birds we should be able to tell roughly how old they are :D

Remember to keep your new birds quarantined for 30 days at a 5 meter minimum distance :P

If ever in doubt as to age, keep the birds long enough before breeding to be sure. Like if they werent babies when you got them, and maybe had already had their first moult, waiting another 6-7 months would be sure.
