Posted August 7, 200816 yr It's a fine sunny day here in Bayside, Brisbane area with a top of I think about 19 - 20 degrees, but just wondering what air temperature is the minimum you can go before deciding weather or not to let your budgies have a bath???
August 7, 200816 yr Well I think nothing under 70F degrees personally, but I find that budgies will bath when they want to at least mine do .
August 7, 200816 yr Author It's 19 degrees C inside which is about 67 degrees F it would probably be a bit warmer outside though is that too low or should they be fine just because I haven't seen weather or not they like the shower spray on them Edited August 7, 200816 yr by Cara
August 7, 200816 yr My birds will bathe, rain hail or shine if they want to. They wont freeze themselves. I notice their winter baths are a lot less soaking then their summer ones
August 7, 200816 yr Author okay so they should be fine them, Thanks it's a real silly question but I wasn't sure how easy it was for them to catch colds etc.
August 7, 200816 yr As long as they can choose to take a bath or not (meaning you don't spray them etc) then they will be fine
August 7, 200816 yr I agree with Liv here, I let Merlin chose his bath and then he knows what is best. They don't need a bath every week or even every month they really know when.
