Posted August 4, 200817 yr Hi Guys Not meaning to sound stupid but what is a creamino? And would anyone have a photo they could post? Thanks Carolyn alais: Budgielover13
August 4, 200817 yr No pics but they will soon follow! Its a yellowface Albino- an albino bird withe the added colour of yellowface type 2 so the yellow colour bleeds across the white turning the bird a creamy colour as opposed to a lutino- bright yellow with red eyes
August 4, 200817 yr Author My Golly The Pie your quick ,Thank you so much for that I had no idea and seem very overwhelmed with trying to understand all the different varieties and colours, not to mention that sex linked gene thing I'm way over my head with that one. I'm sure as I do some more reading and investigating I may start to make some headway.Carolyn alias: Budgielover13 Sorry it's not a great photo but gives you an idea.thanks for the photo Denise I can't believe how quick you guys are!!!!!

August 4, 200817 yr Is a creamino bred from an albino and yellowfaced parents?? Edited August 4, 200817 yr by **Liv**
August 4, 200817 yr Yes that is my understanding. I got my 2 from a breeder that was colony breeding and he didn't know who the parents were.
August 5, 200817 yr LOL, Av ..... Yeah a cremino is a YF albino ... But a Light coloured Lutino can be calssed as a Cremino even though most breeders do not Class a cremino as a mutation rather a YF 1 or a YF 2 Albino :D
August 5, 200817 yr WOOO HOOO one of my pairs for spring is an albino with a YF2 cinnamon - i hope I get a YF albino
August 5, 200817 yr WEll I have that nice Albino Cock who really was just going to go in with the Lutino Hen that I have but maybe I will try and breed MB a Cremo?
August 5, 200817 yr WEll I have that nice Albino Cock who really was just going to go in with the Lutino Hen that I have but maybe I will try and breed MB a Cremo? If you put a Albino with a Lutino you will get very small chicks, can't remember why though.
August 5, 200817 yr i don't recall Ino to Ino producing small young like others can. AV - a YF hen to the Albino is yourbest bet, all the hens will be Albino and you just have to get the luck with one getting the yf gene as well.
August 5, 200817 yr I have been told by quite a few breeders that it is very hard to keep the size up in inos in general and the ino/ino pairings are best avoided so you don't loose size on the resulting birds.
August 5, 200817 yr well listen to them. Ino's isn't a gene that i'm very interested in and tend to forget all but the basics with them.. but i do love the yf ino's
