Being A Dog Groomer!

Featured Replies

Posted

Hi everyone, well it has been a very busy week for me last week.My boss went away from tuesday to friday and I was left in charge of the grooming salon. It was my first time by myself without her there.Although it was nerve racking,I really enjoyed the time and found a new confidence in myself that I didn't think I had.

All the customers were happy with the results and now it means that my boss can have some days off. Here are some examples of what I did.

apparently I clipped one dog in 20 minutes from start to finish (maltesex) which is really quite fast.

The poodles took me 45 minutes, the last dog in the photos took about 1 hour,he is not 1 year old yet and he pulls against you as you are grooming him.He is a goregous dog though.

I still have more photos to upload aswell\thanks for reading

What a great job!! There are a few puppies there that I would love to take home ;) You should try giving us some before and after shots FGM, then we can be even more impressed! :o

great job FGM, and yes get before and aftershots and keep notes on what style you did and blades used it will help in future if you need to look for work elsewere (which i hope you don't) as it will make a porfilo for you of your skills and work. plus you can show pictures to customers when they are not sure what cut they want.

Gi, I forgot to check out your name before going into the reply link, well anyway whoever you are??? :P You have done a brillant job on these dogs and have truely found your calling in life. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my dog to you except she is a Great Dane and doesn't need clipping. Just wondering if you know the breed of the last dog in your pictures?? I'm a large breed lover and this dog is a gorgous looking dog and seems to fit my large breed preference.

thanks Carolyn alias: Budgielover13

What a wonderful job you have. You have done an excellent job on these gorgeous dogs. :P

I was a dog bather and groomer as my first job it was fun , hard work too keeps your arms strong. I really like the 2nd pooch very cute.

Ahhhhhh,

Now i know why your dogs are always fancy dressed and their hair is tinted LOL.... Awesome.

What a fantastic Job - I might make a career change
