Posted August 4, 200817 yr Some time ago I approached Mr Gerald Binks and asked of him the opportunity of having some articles from him to publish on our forum. Mr Gerald Binks is a top world class show breeder and greatly admired and respected Author of the CHALLENGE and other books for show breeders. Recent attendance to the Budgerigar Nationals held in Busselton Western Australia was a great incentive to do bigger and better things with my birds. I met with Janice and Ghalib Al Nassar who judged at this event. Janice was particularly taken with our budgie transport from holding area to staging....which was my own 1959 Cadillac Superior Hearse. We managed to fit almost all the budgies needed for each days showing in my car. It was a lot of fun. I am contacting you now with regard to a Budgerigar Forum I am co administrator of on the Internet. It is Budgie Breeders Club and has over 880 current and active members, a good many being show budgie breeders, and an even greater number being fans of yourself. A lot of members who are pet owners but more and more who are getting into show breeding and who are active show breeders already. The forum is world wide based. Here is a link to the forum.... Http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/ I am contacting you with a request....a hope really....that you would possibly consider submitting various articles/ topics for us to use on the forum for the further education of both show breeders and those contemplating it. I, and many others see your knowledge and advice as a "Bible" of show budgerigars. I would really appreciate anything we can use to add new topics in this regard. If you cannot due to copywright issues, of course I will understand. August 18, 200817 yr Author Patience Neat. The articles arrived in todays post and it will take me a very long time to type them up. All articles are original draughts in Mr Bink's own handwriting.
