So what is the difference between a SF and a DF grey?? and why is a DF grey undesirable??

there is no visual difference between the two, there is no reason why you can't breed them just that becuase grey is a very dominant gene it can take over the flock quickly as a df grey will only produce grey offspring, where as a sf grey can give other outcomes as well.

That makes sense...... Hmmmmm now to decide whether to put lady with the grey cinnamon male or the violet olpaline cinnamon male.

Because of some bonding in the aviary, i have decided to reshuffle my pairs slightly to allow some of the bonded pairs to remain together.

Nice :) I have no idea on genetics, but I'm sure you'll have some nice babies. I must admit, despite pairing for specific colours and mutations, I do like the ones who pair for love ;)

They look great :D What colour chicks would you get from these pairs?
