Posted August 3, 200816 yr Ivan gave me this little hen I then went and saw Shane Thompson a breeder down there and got Lutino hen '07 Opaline Green split with clearwing hen '07 Albino split with lacewing cock '06 And then he had a Greg O'Connell bird that he bought a auction but did not pair up with that he wanted so culling him The Grey spilt with ino cock '06 Also Biuddy and Boof got their new cage set up finally. I wish the stand was a bit higher but in the end it was free so not going to complain! Sorry for the crappy photos.

I also really like the opaline green. it was a toss up between her and her sister but she had the nicer head so got her. he had some nice birds i really could have walked off with a lot more then i did!

August 3, 200816 yr Av, I am not too sure as I am on Daves picture, But are those Yellow and Greens one Bright???? Usually i see Lut's and Greens that are Dull in color they look so nice and BRIGHT
August 3, 200816 yr Author Yes they are, really good colours which is why they picked them. I have a weakness for Lutinos and the brighter the better.
August 3, 200816 yr Wow AV, they are great, personally I would put that gorgeous albino cock with a yellow face hen. Can you say Cremino hen babies But we all know I'm desperate for a cremino My ino cocks are still too young to breed yet :grrrr:
August 3, 200816 yr Terrific birds I would have taken them also Have you noticed the types of birds you are choosing now are getting bigger and nicer

Can you say Cremino hen babies But we all know I'm desperate for a cremino My ino cocks are still too young to breed yet :grrrr: But I don't have a yellow face hen if you have one that is ready to go let me know we can work out a swap when he comes out of quarantine. Terrific birds I would have taken them also Have you noticed the types of birds you are choosing now are getting bigger and nicer Yeah i look at the first show type girls I got and think how small they are and can see all their faults I am sure I will get to that point with these guys but i must admit I do love the albino guy I got. I am going to have to hunt around for the perfect hen for him as i don't want to play around with him want to get some nice chicks from him!
August 3, 200816 yr I'll have a look, I think I have a nice big yellow face hen that might be perfect. They are in bed now though
August 3, 200816 yr Beautiful birds. My fav is the last grey boy myself, but I would be happy to borrow your albino/lacewing boy cause Im getting 2 lacewing hens next week! I promise I'll bring him back!! lol
August 3, 200816 yr Yep confirmed I am on my pc now an MAN, they are nice, Totally agree with Kaz on that you are picking bigger, and better quality birds
August 3, 200816 yr I really love that hen .... There is something about her, but I cant put my finger on it Perhaps it's the eyes???? She looks different somehow - very nice... postage stamp on her forehead and post to me please
August 3, 200816 yr Author Yep confirmed I am on my pc now an MAN, they are nice, Totally agree with Kaz on that you are picking bigger, and better quality birds :D I do like the brighter colours really starting to fall for the bright greens and yellows. to the point where there is part of me that just wants to try and breed some really big lutinos! I actually think that grey boy would go nicely with the green opaline hen I was talking to my cousin today (he's the one that breeds the ringnecks i txt you about) and he was saying the same thing. Also the really nice bright green cock I got the other week is a thought for the opaline as i would not mind putting both of the greys together will see how it goes. Is the first hen a clearwing? She looks like a clearwing to me? not sure, she might be I get confused with clearwings... she was a talking to Ivan "here I have something for you" got given a box came home and that was her... will have to get a good picture of her in the light so that other can work it out for me.
August 4, 200816 yr I agree with the others, they are all really nice birds, but as with some others I like the Green Opaline the best…looks a really nice hen. That first bird looks like a Dilute to me, it could even be a Black Eyed Self with a lot of Green suffusion. I really love that hen :hap: .... There is something about her, but I cant put my finger on it :hap: Perhaps it's the eyes???? She looks different somehow - very nice... postage stamp on her forehead and post to me please She's too good a hen for that Liv...she might get damaged by the stamp on the head :hap: if she was going to take that risk she could send her to me... I Know...I Know you got in first...sob...sob...sob. I'm sure she ain't going to part with her so I guess it all academic.
August 4, 200816 yr Author Ha poor girl she was a toss up, one that I took to round out the 4 and not my fav but there must be something there that I am not seeing.
August 4, 200816 yr Do these 2 have red eyes? They look black on the 2 monitors I have seen them on? I agree that the Green hen is gorgeous.
